Article: Make a mini sticker book

Make a mini sticker book

You can use supplies you already have at home to make these oh-so adorable mini sticker books.

They're perfect for gifting, trading, or creating a little travel sticker book to tuck into your bag or on-the-go craft kit.

Materials:

  • 2 empty sticker sheet backing papers
  • 1 Moonbow vellum envelope
  • Scissors
  • Stapler (or sewing machine if you're feeling fancy)
  • Glue, double-sided tape, or glue tape

Instructions:

1. Cut along the edges of the Moonbow vellum envelope to separate it into two pieces; then fold the non-branded piece in half horizontally - this will be your book cover.

2. Stack the sticker backing sheets shiny side out (dull sides facing each other), and fold in half horizontally.

3. Put the folded sticker backing sheets into the folded sheet of vellum to create a booklet; staple twice in the middle along the folded edge.

4. Unfold the booklet and trim the excess vellum, using the sticker release paper as a guide.

5. Glue or tape the non-shiny sides of the sticker paper together.

6. Admire your DIY sticker book and start decorating!

You can add as many sheets as you like (each one creates 4 pages), keeping in mind you’ll need two blank sticker backers for each additional sheet you want to include. You can also use anything you like for the cover material, so have fun experimenting!

If you are filling a DIY sticker book to give to a friend, you can make it a free-for-all of random stickers, or give the book a theme based on a color, season, animals, foods, celebrations, weird stickers, stickers that remind you of the recipient…the possibilities are endless.
